Together, the school and parish provide opportunities for families to engage in Family Mass celebrations each month, and parishioners are always welcome to join our School Mass and liturgy celebrations throughout the term.
We are fortunate to share with the parish a spirituality of the heart, with Jesus at the centre and with love, compassion and mercy as essential aspects of our spirituality. In this approach, we seek to be on earth the heart of God and to be animated by the Spirit of Jesus in all that we do.
The Parish office is located with us at the school and we work in partnership with the parish priest and staff to engage families in on-going faith formation and the life and mission of the church.
We support the Parish in the Sacramental program with children who are in the primary years of their schooling.
Through it, families come together to support children in their journey towards becoming fully initiated members of the Catholic community through the sacraments of Baptism, Reconciliation, Confirmation and First Eucharist.
We celebrate class Masses or Liturgies regularly, as well as major events in the liturgical year including Easter, Pentecost, Ash Wednesday, Assumption and All Saints' Day.
We also celebrate the Feast day Masses of St Joseph (March 19th) and St Mary of the Cross MacKillop (August 8th).
The school aims to host or attend at least one Parish Mass per term, as a way of connecting our families with the wider church. Parents and friends are always welcome to join these celebrations which are promoted on our website and in our school newsletter.
